Welcome from the Permanent Representative

Welcome to the website of the Mission of Guatemala to the United Nations. It pursues several purposes. In the first place, to offer a window to users not only of the activities of this Mission to the United Nations, but to Guatemala proper, through the multiple websites that render access to information on the country. In the second place, to comply with the reverse function, by offering Guatemalan compatriots ample information about the United Nations and its activities, including, of course, those its own Government carries out. And, thirdly to illustrate the more pro-active nature that the country´s foreign policy is assuming, as well as its vocation for multilateral instances, prominently including the United Nations.
